I was watching a show on the arrow of time no US PBS TV show NOVA over the weekend. They got to the point where they were talking about Entropy and I thought:
"Lean and Six Sigma are about reduction of variation and elimination of waste in a process. So we are always fighting Entropy. The transition from an ordered state to one of disorder. So LSS must overcome S = K log W."
I know it is oversimplification but hey it sounds good.
